The Gerald Wolfe Memorial Fund and Golf Outing
GFW Scholarship Details
A scholarship was formed by the North Brookfield Fire Department in memory of our friend and honorary member Gerald Wolfe. In November of 2007, Jerry was involved in a fatal motor vehicle accident in southern New York. With the support of the Wolfe family the NBFD set up a memorial fund aimed at giving to charitable organizations and to support this scholarship. Currently the scholarship fund supports an award for a graduating senior from both the Brookfield and Waterville Central School Districts.
In addition to the scholarship, the GFW Memorial fund will be supportng community projects supporting youth activites.
Golf Outing Details
Scheduled for Saturday October 2, 2010 the 3rd annual GFW Classic will again be held at the Barker Brook Golf Club in Oriskany Falls.

Barker Brook Golf Club offers an 18-hole course, featuring 6,388 yards of golf from the longest tees, for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.0 and a slope rating of 119.
Designed by Charles Miner, the Barker Brook Golf Course opened in 1965. Our course has many views of the surrounding picturesque hills with water hazards that come into play on fourteen different holes. The Bent grass greens are large and flat and the bluegrass fairways are narrow.
Our season runs from April 1st - November 15th, 2010. Please contact the pro shop for exact availability.
