March 21, 2009

The first quarter is coming to a close quickly, this means we will be having another round of SCBA training soon, The 5th monday in March would normally be an SCBA night, however we will be changing that date to a weekend. We have been given permission to use a house in Cazenovia for training. A trip to caz may be a little much for a weeknight. On this coming monday (the 23rd) we have station duties, we will talk more about the training then.

Mackenzie turns 1 on the 30th, she's not quite walking yet, but it won't be long. She can stand if she has something to pull herself up against. Tara and I cannot believe how fast this past year has gone...I'm sure things won't slow down! -280

2008! It's almost over? It has been a busy 11 months and the next 30 days are shaping up to be more of the same. We are continuing with truck company operations next week, this time with an emphasis on salvage, overhaul and laddering. We have had a decent turnout for training this quarter, but we need to see more regular turnout from everyone. Keep checking the site and board at the station for the latest training schedule.

Josh/Corey- your half way home in the firefighter one class, keep up the good work.
